Medicare Supplement from Medical Mutual is supplemental healthcare benefit plans that enhance your Medicare Part A (hospital) and Part B (physician) coverage. To give you options and to fit with your lifestyle and healthcare needs, Medicare Supplement from Medical Mutual offers a Medicare Supplement Plan A, Medicare Supplement Plan C, as well as Medicare Supplement Plan F. Medicare Supplement plans are supplemental healthcare benefit plans each designed to enhance your Medicare Part A and Part B coverage. With Medicare Supplement plans you receive standard healthcare benefits that allow you to go to any doctor, specialist or hospital who accepts Medicare.

Eligibility

In order to enroll in Medicare Supplement from Medical Mutual you must:

  • Be a permanent resident of, and reside in the state of Ohio at least six (6) months of each calendar year.
  • Be age 65 or older;
  • Be eligible for and enrolled in both Medicare Part A (hospitals) and Part B (physicians).

You are guaranteed acceptance if you are age 65 or older, and you apply for your Medicare Supplement policy within six months of your enrollment in Medicare Part B. You do not need to answer any medical questions or meet any medical underwriting requirements.

If you miss applying for Medicare Supplement during the first six months after enrolling in Medicare Part B, you may still apply for Medicare Supplement from Medical Mutual. For acceptance, you must answer the medical questions on the enclosed application and meet the medical underwriting requirements. You are not required to take a medical exam.

Premiums

Medicare Supplement from Medical Mutual has plans at affordable rates. We determine premiums based upon your attained age. Attained age means your premium will increase each year as you get older.

Provider Network

If you enroll in a Medicare Supplement plan, you can receive care from any doctor, specialist or hospital of your choice that accepts Medicare. You do not need to receive pre-certifications or pre-authorizations.

Choosing a Medicare Supplement plan is not an easy task. The following can help you determine what policy is right for you:

Easy Enrollment

Please allow 30 days for processing your application. After your application is approved, we will notify you of the effective date of your coverage.

Your satisfaction is guaranteed. If you examine your Medicare Supplement plan from Medical Mutual during the first 30 days and decide not to keep it, simply return your policy along with a letter stating you do not want this coverage. If benefits have not been provided on the policy, you will be refunded the amount of your paid premium in full. If benefits have been provided, premiums will not be refunded.
