Employee Training & Development

At Medical Mutual we recognize that our employees are our most important asset in meeting the needs of our customers. We make sure that our employees are knowledgeable, skilled and well-informed through development opportunities in the following areas:

  • Professional Development - Classroom and on-line learning is available to help employees develop skills in areas such as communications, writing skills, customer service and personal organization.
  • Management and Leadership Training - “Take the Lead” is a training program designed specifically for each level of management. This training includes a list of core programs that are required, as well as optional courses offered both internally and externally.
  • Computer Training - Essential PC skills are important to the technology driven world, and therefore we offer training to support the learning of personal computer skills such as Windows, MS Excel, MS Word, Powerpoint, Access, Outlook, and MS Project.
  • Industry & Regulatory - To support knowledge of the Health Insurance Industry, we offer individual courses and certifications are offered through the Health Insurance Association of America (HIAA).

Tuition Assistance

In addition to training, our company provides tuition assistance to employees who wish to enhance their skills and/or level of education through participation in an accredited college curriculum.

Covered Programs Include:

  • Undergraduate degree (Associates or Bachelors)
  • Graduate Degree (Masters)
  • CLEP (College Level Examination Program)
  • Portfolio Credits (Credits for Life/Work experience)
  • Individual Job Related Courses
